Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible to generate, maintain, consolidate, and track various reports.
- Analyze data and reports from various sources and our own software to provide actionable insights and suggestions.
- Prepare Ad hoc reports based on the requirements from the management, back end operations / marketing, commercial, finance team, front-end store team, production/merchandising team and brand head.
- Identify the opportunities of automating the reports, snapshots and dashboards using advanced formulae, Macros and other techniques.
- Consolidate, sort, organize and summarize data using basic mathematical operations.
- Assist in analyzing the reports and provide domain knowledge to software development team to help in the digitalization of SOPs, operations and processes.
- Assist in identifying and analyzing the requirements of management, head office, factory, sales, marketing, commercial, merchandising, inventory, import/export, shipment, finance, etc. and convert them into software development specifications so the organization can adopt data-driven decision-making, increase profitability and reduce costs from all of the digitalization initiatives.
- Assist in building various trend analysis to forecast sales, making customer segmentation, deriving business intelligence insights from data, and building predictive models with the collaboration of the software development team.
- Interpret data and metrics using charts, tables, and other graphics in Microsoft Excel (primarily) and if needed in Power Point as well.
- Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of production activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
- Should be able to establish effective coordination across all functional units of the organization.
- To analyze and ensure timely submission of MIS reports to the management.
- To update cost heads on utilities and other logistics, keep records on a daily basis via system entry and analyze this for overall cost savings in the organization.
- Manage all MIS operations of the business.
KSAOs Required to Succeed in this Role
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization is critical
- Previous experience in managing MIS, Sales, Profit & Costing data assessment /analyzing in RMG, Textile or Interlining business.
- Solid knowledge of advanced cost/financial accounting, sales, store, production operations.
- Excellent knowledge of reporting including standard costing & variance analysis.
- Working knowledge of ERP, financial software and MS office tools, especially excel.
- Strong attention to detail & analytical thinking, problem-solving attitude.
- Extensive Knowledge and experience in collaborating with software development team for automation and digitalization.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
- Candidate should be well versed with Advanced Excel, Power Point, Macro etc.
- Good at working with Data and have prior knowledge of Data management from MIS perspective
- Must have Logical Thinking and Analytical capability to identify inefficiencies.
- Education and training in MIS field would be highly preferred.
