The official launching event was held at the Gulshan Branch of SHWAPNO & Banani Branch of Burger King Bangladesh on October 1, 2020. Managing Director of SSLCOMMERZ, Mr. Sayeeful Islam, Joint Director, Payment Systems Department of Bangladesh Bank, Mr. Mohammad Akhlasuddin, Head of Cards & Digital Banking of Eastern Bank Limited, and Senior Director, Business Development, South Asia of Visa, Mr. Soumya Basu were also present in the ceremony through video conference.
Mr. Shahzada Redwan, Director & CTO, Mr. Iftekhar Alam Ishaque, Deputy CTO of SSLCOMMERZ and Mr. Ahsan Ullah Chowdhury, Head of Cards & Digital Banking, Mr. Amin Md. Mehedi Hasan, Head of Digital Channels of Eastern Bank Limited were physically present during the launching ceremony.
In the inauguration program Mr. Sayeeful Islam, the Managing Director of SSLCOMMERZ, has said
