AGM / Senior Manager, Business Development
The AGM / Senior Manager – Business Development will be responsible for leading, scaling, and driving revenue growth across multiple business verticals including VAS, Enterprise Solutions, Campaigns, Business Operations, and Corporate Sales. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership of P&L, partnerships, and high-value client relationships within the IT, Telecom, and FinTech ecosystem.
Your Roles & Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage multi-functional Business Development teams including VAS, Enterprise Solutions, Campaigns, Business Operations, and Corporate Sales.
- Build a high-performing team through mentoring, performance management, coaching, and structured training programs.
- Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, performance evaluation, succession planning, and disciplinary actions in alignment with HR policies.
- Resolve internal conflicts, promote collaboration, and ensure strong team morale and alignment with business goals.
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term business strategies to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and service innovation.
- Prepare annual business plans, budgets, P&L forecasts, and strategic proposals for management review.
- Align sales, marketing, and operational strategies with market trends, customer needs, and organizational objectives.
- Review business performance periodically and recommend corrective actions to optimize results.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Represent the organization in high-level client meetings, negotiations, onboarding, and strategic discussions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, key partners, regulators, and international stakeholders.
- Act as a senior escalation point to resolve complex client issues related to service delivery, payments, or technology.
- Drive client satisfaction, retention, and long-term value creation through proactive engagement.
- Business Analysis & Management Reporting
- Analyze sales pipelines, campaign performance, revenue trends, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare detailed management reports highlighting business performance, risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Identify new revenue streams, upselling opportunities, and performance improvement areas.
- Present regular dashboards and strategic insights to senior management.
- Operational Oversight
- Oversee execution of ongoing campaigns, enterprise solutions, and service deployments.
- Monitor day-to-day activities across multiple business units and ensure operational excellence.
- Ensure effective lead management, fair distribution, and conversion optimization across teams.
- Streamline processes to improve service quality, turnaround time, and customer experience.
- Regulatory & Partnership Management
- Liaise with regulatory bodies (e.g., BTRC), telecom operators, banks, and relevant authorities to ensure compliance.
- Lead commercial negotiations and resolve regulatory, contractual, or service-related challenges.
- Develop, manage, and grow strategic partnerships locally and internationally.
- Ensure smooth execution of partnership agreements and service rollouts.
- Innovation & Process Improvement
- Drive automation, digital transformation, and system optimization initiatives.
- Promote innovative solutions in enterprise services such as cybersecurity, hosting, SSL, and software platforms.
- Recommend new technologies, service models, and process improvements based on market insights and client feedback.
- Work closely with technology and operations teams for seamless implementation.
- Budgeting & Financial Oversight
- Collaborate with Finance to manage budgets, control costs, and improve profitability.
- Monitor expenditure, revenue realization, and financial performance of business units.
- Ensure all projects and initiatives align with corporate financial objectives.
- Conduct profitability and feasibility analysis for new and existing services.
- Risk, Issue & Disaster Management
- Oversee resolution of service issues impacting large corporate client bases.
- Manage service downtimes, operational risks, and partner-related disruptions.
- Develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity and operational resilience.
- Act as the final escalation authority for critical business or client issues.
- Campaign & Enterprise Solution Oversight
- Lead end-to-end execution of customized campaigns including Top-Up, Data Pack, Digital Gratification, and Subscription services.
- Supervise enterprise-level offerings such as cybersecurity, hosting, SSL certificates, and software development.
- Ensure successful delivery through alignment of client requirements, execution teams, and timelines.
- Drive innovation in campaign design and enterprise solution delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Ensure seamless coordination across Technology, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Operations teams.
- Align internal processes for regulatory compliance, efficiency, and service excellence.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and knowledge sharing across departments.

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Telecom, IT, or FinTech
- Proven experience leading large teams and managing P&L
- Strong exposure to enterprise solutions, campaigns, partnerships, and regulatory coordination
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant field
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
