SSLCOMMERZ, Bangladesh’s leading payment gateway, is expanding its Business Service Team.
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Executive/ Sr. Executive, Sales to join our growing team!
Your Roles & Responsibilities
- Merchant Acquisition & Merchant Management
- Hunt for new merchants and complete the acquisition process in line with company strategies.
- Manage the existing merchant portfolio, ensuring retention and generating leads from the current base.
- Build strong relationships with clients to maintain a healthy portfolio.
- Identify new opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling to meet merchant needs.
- Target Achievement & KPI Management:
- Meet transaction targets on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Ensure achievement of both financial and non-financial KPIs.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Collect and process all necessary documents required for account activation.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes while coordinating with stakeholders.
- Campaigns & Strategic Initiatives:
- Initiate and execute campaigns aimed at boosting business.
- Co-ordinate with internal departments (operations, technical, legal, marketing) and external stakeholders for account and campaign processing.
- Engage in new projects and contribute to strategic planning for merchant growth.
- Collect competition intelligence for market insights and planning.
- Client Engagement & Account Servicing:
- Provide end-to-end service to merchants, ensuring smooth account operations.
- Take initiatives to engage clients and enhance their overall experience.
- Negotiate contracts with merchants and establish clear performance timelines.
- Represent SSLCOMMERZ positively and professionally in the market.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Keep accurate records of client interactions and activities for better reporting and insights.
Your KSAOs
- Well-groomed, energetic, and capable of working under pressure.
- Proficient in managing marketing and sales activities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills in both English and Bangla.
- Hardworking with a positive attitude towards responsibilities.
- Proficient in computer applications, with mandatory expertise in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Willing and able to work in the field for extended periods.
- Exceptional convincing and persuasion skills.
- Candidates from Business Services, NGOs, or the Restaurant industry are highly encouraged to apply.
Your Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Business/Marketing preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in Sales/Business development.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Target-driven and self-motivated.
- Prior experience in Mobile Financial Services (MFS) or Payment Gateway sales will be considered a strong plus.
