We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Specialist – .NET to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET technologies, backend development, and database management, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and modern .NET frameworks.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs following established design and security guidelines.
- Work with Blazor–based applications and collaborate with front-end developers using Angular or Vue.js when required.
- Contribute to microservice-based systems and assist in service integration.
- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and support database design.
- Follow secure coding practices and assist in addressing security vulnerabilities.
- Support application deployment on IIS and assist with Linux/Apache-based deployments.
- Work with reverse proxy configurations as part of guided deployment or infrastructure setups.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with QA, product, and DevOps teams to deliver quality releases.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow team coding standards.
KSAOs that You will need to Succeed in this Role
- Experience with Blazor (Server or WebAssembly).
- Working knowledge of Angular or Vue.js.
- Exposure to Apache, reverse proxy concepts, or request routing.
- Experience with ORM tools such as Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Prior experience in Fintech, Banking, Payments, or other financial systems.
- Awareness of OWASP and secure API practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good time management and multitasking ability.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Experience & Academic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in .NET application development.
- Good command of C#, ASP.NET Core, and modern .NET.
- Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of SQL Server and relational database concepts.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of microservices and service-oriented architecture.
- Familiarity with IIS deployment and basic Linux environments.
- Experience using Git and working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
