Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) has signed an agreement with SSL Wireless on 9th July 2018 for accepting online payments from its website. SSL Wireless operates one of the largest online payment gateway service of Bangladesh under the brand SSLCOMMERZ.
BASIS will soon launch its online payment portal. With the new portal, BASIS members will be able to pay the fees and other payments online. This will open up new opportunities for BASIS to collect different fees and charges from its members online by connecting the SSLCOMMERZ payment gateway. The members will be able to make payment for services like membership admission fees, annual membership renewal fees, co-branded card fees, export cash incentive fees, event/expo fees, membership service charges, and many more payments.
Mr. Tamzid Siddiq Spondon, Director, and Mr. Hashim Ahmed, Secretary from BASIS were present at the agreement handover ceremony along with Mr. Ashish Chakraborty, COO, Mr. Shahzada Redwan, CTO, and Nawat Ashekin, Head of E-Commerce Services from SSL Wireless.
Barrister Miti Sanjana coordinated the agreement handover ceremony on behalf of BASIS and Wasek Sazzad, Executive, PR Officer was present as the Secretariat Coordinator of the BASIS Digitalization Committee.
