Software Specialist/Senior Software Specialist, PHP

We are seeking a Software Specialist/ Senior Software Specialist (PHP) who possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to align team goals with the company’s mission and vision.

The ideal candidate for the role of Software Specialist/ Senior Software Specialist will have proficiency in multiple frameworks, robust database management skills including MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, and experience with payment gateway integrations. Key responsibilities include leading projects, ensuring high-quality code standards, collaborating with product managers to define requirements, advising the tech team, staying current with backend technologies, and creating technical documentation.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Web application development expertise in PHP Laravel.
• Work with front end developers to build site templates, access and store data, and provide AJAX/REST endpoints.
• Knowledge of front-end framework like Angular, React, Vue etc will be plus
• Working knowledge of Web Services (e.g., JSON, RPC, REST, XML, SOAP, etc.)
• Optimize websites including SQL queries, code-refactoring, caching, CDNs etc.
• Strong Knowledge on Algorithm, Data Structure, Design patterns, OOP.
• Experience with third-party APIs integration not limited to payment gateway APIs
• Extensive experience using Git and Bitbucket.
• Thorough understanding of the HTTP request/response cycle.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, viewing challenges and new opportunities positively.
• Capability to gather and document specifications/requirements in a standard format.
• Strong ability to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks efficiently within the constraints of clients’ timelines and budgets.
